A camp for 3rd - 6th graders held over the summer where students get attuned with their inner artist and learn about different ways they can create to express themselves.

  • Students got the chance to visit different local makers spaces, where they learned about the various different ways to make and create. At Hatch Workshop, students learned about laser-cutting and even got to create spirograph art out of laser-cut wood pieces.

  • While learning about the different ways to create, students got attuned with their own creative sides and had hands-on experiences making their own creations. Partnered with the Kommunity Hub, students assembled their own no-bake cheesecakes.

  • Students then held their own Makers Market where they pitched and sold their products to local community members and kept their profits.
