A camp for 2nd - 5th graders held over spring break where students learned about peace and unity

30 students will join us for a 3 day mini camp where they will be participating in various activities, such as yoga and self-defense classes to learn about peace and unity. In the end, the students will create a peace play that will be showcased.

Raelin Tamargo
Raelin Tamargo is a Stockton Native and former Rio Calaveras otter and SECA timberwolf! Rae graduated from UC San Diego with a B.S. in Clinical Psychology and a minor in music. Rae has previously served as a City Year fellow with elementary school students in the Bay Area. Rae’s goals are to inspire and empower the next generation of young leaders to not only imagine a safer, kinder, more equitable world, but also advocate for one for themselves and future generations.

Sen Kironde
Sen Kironde is a native Stocktonian, having graduated from Lincoln High School. Sen has previously held the role as administrative facilitator as liaison between local school district staff and various academic tutoring programs. Sen is currently working for a local school district specializing in serving students with disabilities and has also worked with the City of Stockton Parks and Recreation. He carries a generational vision of seeing our cities youth to not only learn but love learning.

Jessica Preston
Ms. Jessica is a Wife, a Mother, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the owner of Uniquely You Mental Health Services LLC, a client focused mental health organization providing youth and family services. She has experience in a variety of outpatient settings including, schools, juvenile hall, clinics, and private practice. Ms. Jessica is also a speaker and workshop facilitator who speaks and teaches on a variety of topics related to Mental Wellness, Financial Freedom, and Youth Empowerment.

Monique Haughton
Monique Haughton was born and raised in Stockton and is currently in her last semester at Sacramento State majoring in Child and Adolescent Development. She has worked with children in Stockton for 8 years, with experience in both preschool and elementary settings. Monique has planned to continue her education this summer and work towards a Master in Education with Alder GSE. Her objective is to use a whole child approach to provide a safe and inspiring learning environment for all students who come into her care.

Leslie Liberty
Dr. Leslie Liberty, LCSW, DSW, Ph.D., was born and raised in Washington DC and the Panama Canal Zone, but her family has been in Stockton since the California Gold Rush. She has over 40 years' experience in social work and psychology, but has more than that in fine and performing arts. Currently, Dr. Liberty is clinical director of New Directions Alcohol and Drug Awareness Program, sings with the Sacramento Philharmonic & Opera, is a founding member of the Catalyst Theatre Company, and regularly shows her paintings and sculpture throughout the area.

Seung Ham
Born in Argentina and raised in Los Angeles, California, Seung Ham found his calling at University of the Pacific to study chemistry on the pre-dental track and to serve the underserved community within Stockton. This is why Seung joined the Pacific College Corps Fellowship, where he is committed to raising awareness of urban greening efforts with Little Manila Rising, and supporting the education of students in the Lodi Unified School District in their after-school Bridge program. Seung has a vision of creating a brighter future for the youth of the community and will put great effort into making this vision come true.
