A 3-day Virtual Mini Camp for 3rd - 5th Grade Students held during their Fall Break, designed to help build diverse relationships and feel more connected to the city of Stockton.
Camp Theme:
The Endless Potential In All Of Us
We delivered students a t-shirt, snacks, and a copy of the book Maybe: A Story of about the Endless Potential in All of Us (the theme of our programming), to help young students learn about their endless potential to make an impact in Stockton. Across the three days, students will take several virtual field trips and reflect and imagine their own endless potential, and how they can impact our community
Students took a virtual field trip to Boggs Tract Community Farm with PUENTES
PUENTES provided students growing kits to learn how easy it is to grow plants in our homes
We virtually toured the HATCH Workshop and learned what it means to design for our community
Students had the opportunity to design 3D products including printing their own keychains
