A 3-day Virtual Mini Camp for 3rd - 5th Grade Students held during their Spring Break, designed to promote student health and wellness through community partnership.

Students received a free meal kit and engaged in live cooking classes to explore how community organizations can support healthy and sustainable living for families.

Chef Liesha of Edible Schoolyard Project Stockton took students through each recipe, step by step, teaching students about the ingredients and various kitchen skills they can continue to use to make more meals for their family in the future.

We were able to provide over 25 families with complete meal kits so students had everything they needed to prepare three different meals for their families at no cost to participate.
